529 savings grow 49% in 2004
According to Financial Research Corporation, assets in all 529 savings programs grew 49% during 2004, from $35.1 billion to $52.3 billion. Fourth quarter 2004 growth was 16%. FRC is projecting assets to reach nearly $200 billion by year-end 2008.
